LUMENINE Beauty is operated by Ninh Tran, an individual sole trader based in Warragul and Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. References to "LUMENINE", "we", "us", or "our" in this policy refer to Ninh Tran operating as LUMENINE Beauty.

  • Skin & health information — where you voluntarily disclose allergies, skin sensitivities, or relevant health information prior to a service. This is collected solely to ensure safe and appropriate service delivery.

  • Payment information — we do not store payment details. All payments are processed via our booking platform (Acuity Scheduling/ Stripe / Squarespace) using their secure payment systems.

  • Website usage data — anonymised analytics data collected via Squarespace's built-in analytics (pages visited, device type, referral source). This data cannot identify you personally.

  • Mailing list data — your email address if you subscribe to our newsletter via our website or booking platform.

We use your personal information only for the following purposes:

  • To confirm, manage, and fulfil your booking and appointment

  • To communicate with you about your appointment, including reminders and follow-up

  • To improve our services and understand how our website is used (via anonymised analytics)

04  ·  HOW WE STORE & PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION

Your personal information is stored securely within our booking platform (Acuity Scheduling, operated by Squarespace Inc.) and our email service provider. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure.

We retain your information only for as long as necessary to provide our services and meet our legal obligations. Booking and client records are generally retained for up to 3 years, after which they are securely deleted.

05  ·  WHO WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION WITH

LUMENINE does not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share limited information with:

  • Acuity Scheduling / Squarespace Inc. — our booking and website platform, which processes and stores appointment data on our behalf. Squarespace's privacy policy applies: squarespace.com/privacy

  • Email service providers — for the purpose of sending booking confirmations, reminders, and newsletter communications

  • Legal or regulatory authorities — where we are required to do so by law

All third-party service providers we use are required to handle your information securely and in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

06  ·  SOCIAL MEDIA & THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS

Our website contains links to our social media profiles on Instagram (@lumeninebeauty), Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok. If you interact with us on these platforms, those platforms' own privacy policies apply. LUMENINE is not responsible for the data practices of these third-party platforms.

If you send us a direct message via social media, any personal information you share will be used solely to respond to your enquiry.

Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:

  • Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information

If you believe your privacy rights have been breached, please contact us in writing at glow@lumenine.com.au. We will investigate and respond within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or by calling 1300 363 992.

Our services are designed for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
